Nora - 4/27/2017

Nora ate whole wheat bagel and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she had a nibble or two of pizza: whole wheat crust, meat mix (hamburger, sausage, eggs), olives, mushrooms, peppers, and pineapple. She ate enough to fuel a hummingbird! (Maybe for a few short minutes!)  So I'll feed her more when she wakes up!  :)

Here's a picture of Nora sitting in the Library reading with Bubba!  :)  I'm thinking about the picture I posted yesterday of Nora squeezed into a tight spot.  That is common among infants her age.  Many like the feel of tightness on both sides!  (But of course not ALL infants.)  Lauralea is going to use that picture in one of the Infant/Toddler classes she teaches.  So I guess Nora will be slightly famous for a moment at least!  :)

It was so cute how Nora was watching Lauralea brush her hair!  She was actually quite mesmerized!! So I got the camera and told Lauralea; "Keep brushing, keep brushing!"  Haha!  Nora also sat on Lauralea's lap while Lauralea was reading to the kids before she left.  Lauralea said, "That's the longest she's ever sat on my lap!"

And of course I have to post the daily mattress play with Avilene and Nora!  It lasted for 3 - 4 minutes!  Avi gets so excited and starts jumping and rolling around and Nora sits there and giggles! This is a picture of the 2 - legged takedown!  Well executed Avilene!  Nora looks pretty distressed right!?  Not!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
