Nora - 5/26/2017

Nora had some oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia (only 1 taste until I started sneaking it in with the applesauce and she was fine with that - actually only the first bite was sneaky and then she watched what I was doing, but kept eating it), ate whole wheat elbow noodles, bite of green beans, and ate applesauce.

Here is Nora in front of her favorite spot in the room - her mirror again!!  She had one of the heart bracelets on her arm and scooted right over to look at it in the mirror.  In the 2nd picture she was parked in the same place playing with the iPod again!!  When you're reading these Blogs and it feels like you've read the same thing a few times; then it's obviously a favorite!!  :)  I feel like I've written this same thing a few times!!

Here's Little Miss Nora getting more brave everyday.  Small increments, but more brave everyday!!  Ha!  Someday she's gonna climb right up these steps!!  Bubba was playing with the xylophone and Nora crawled over to where he was at.  Hudson said, "Hey Gary! I'm feeding Nora."  :)  I think "feeding Nora" was a much more fun way to play with the xylophone!!  And the last picture looks familiar as well!!  She wears one of those masks frequently!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
