Nora - 5/30/2017

Nora ate toasted whole wheat english muffins and  lots of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop bites, whole wheat toast, roasted beets, bites of roasted sweet potatoes, and red potatoes, and a couple bites of applesauce.  Nora crawls out to the Lunch Room and goes to the bib area before every meal.  She knows which bib is her's and will sit and tug on it.  :)

Less than 30 minutes after Nora arrived she was doing some loud and painful sounding grunts and squawking.  Hudson knows that familiar sound and immediately said, "Nora trying poop!"  Yup, you're right Hudson.  I always try to say something to encourage her in the process; something like "good job Nora, you can do it, keep trying."  She wasn't successful then, but a few minutes later she was trying again and Hudson was saying, "You can do it, you can do it......"  So cute.  And she was successful that time!!  :)

Nora was the first one here this morning and  I took this picture when she was being silly playing on the mattress.  Later in the morning she was playing in the same area and Avilene was crawling up the steps to the blue balance beam.  She slid off and Nora happened to be in the exact right or wrong spot!  (I guess that totally depends on your perspective!!)  But she softened Avi's landing regardless!  Avi kind of landed on Nora's side and Nora howled for only a few seconds.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were busy all morning.  The pop-up toys in this set have a cute little rhyme that plays when they pop up.  Nora was busy crawling around seeing what everyone else was playing with.  She also spent lots of time in front of "her" mirror.  In the last picture she pulled herself up to the couch to see what Hudson and Sophie were looking at.
