Nora ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and a bite or two of dried plums.  For lunch she had a few bites of chicken with stir fry vegetables.  She wouldn't even look at the brown rice - turned her head sideways before it was even close to her face.  Ha!  However, bring on those oranges!!  She ate LOTS of oranges.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  That is not a safe play to play Nora!  Ha!  You're going up a one-way street the wrong way!!  I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that 80% of the kids (around Nora's age) we've had in the last 20 years will play this exact way.  I always have said the reason is because there is frequently a lot of activity right there!  The slides are like a magnet!  And it doesn't deter them even if someone is coming down!

I realize there are lots of pictures today, but they were all too cute to leave one out!!  (You should see some of the pictures that never make it past the Editor's desk!!  Ha!)  This first one is Nora standing on the mattress practicing her mastery of small motor skills!  Quit picking at the tape on the posters Nora!  :)  She was peeling it back and pulling on the poster.  I remember another "master picker" we had.  He'd pull long thin slices off the cedar fence by the sidewalk.  I must say her "picking" skills are advanced and comparable to what his were!!  Now, I'll just hope she doesn't discover the cedar fence!  Ha!!  I think the 2nd picture is pretty funny - Hudson was putting all the stuffed animals in the igloo and Nora was tossing them behind her!  (You can see one in midair behind Nora.)  Bubba was focused on the task at hand and didn't want to stop until he had every stuffed animal off the mattress and in the igloo.  Nora finally gave up, crawled out and lay on the mattress sucking her thumb watching Bubba continue to fill the igloo!  Ha!!  The 3rd picture is simply Nora being silly - needing both hands to crawl and using her mouth to pack the spoon.  :)  We also played outside and she made her way across the grass to the big climber, but I don't think her knees ever touched the ground.
