Nora - 7/10/2017
Nora had bites of bran cereal and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch we had chicken salad (lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, olives) with the chicken and olives on the side. She ate her chicken, pita bread, bites of salad mixture, ate olives, and two servings of pears. Nap time is right after Lunch and some days I might forget and get Atley ready for nap first, before Nora. (My general approach is to start with the youngest.) Nora does NOT like that! As Atley and I were heading for the hallway I started singing, "Good night Atley, good night Atley." Oh man! Nora started screaming! :) Oops! Sorry Nora!! Not intentional!
This first picture cracks me up. As soon as she was done waving at Daddy leaving she raced to the mattress to do this. Then when she saw me looking at her she closed her eyes. She was doing that several times this morning - kind of a cute little shy thing. So cute. She played on the mattress a lot and also played with the dress-up clothes; which consisted of fiddling with and experimenting with the zippers.
Sophie and Reid are gone today so here are the 4 kids playing on the mattress at the same time. This was their first activity after all of them arrived. Close together and getting reacquainted after the weekend! Ha! Atley is a very comfortable part of our Daycare now and we love her. Last Friday Sophie said, "Atley our new friend." Sweet.
I haven't had a picture of Nora in front of "her" mirror for several Blogs! So just in case you think she may no longer use this mirror, here she is!! But she's not sitting this time. Hudson looked at her standing this morning and said, "Nora standing!" Yup, she does that! He's seen her do that many times, but today it left more of an impression! It was like he saw it for the first time. :)
