Nora - 8/17/2017

Nora arrived about 10:00 and for Lunch she ate half of turkey burger, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, bite of peas, and bites of applesauce.  The kids were all at the window waving bye to Daddy Ryan and Hudson said, "Hey, He's (Ryan) using Emily's car!"  LOL!  That made me laugh!  That's right Hudson; and Emily is gonna find out because I'm posting it in Nora's Blog!!

Well Reid is back today for the first time in 2 weeks after a road trip to Kansas City.  Nora went over to say "hi" to him.  Isn't this the cutest?  Then she sat on the floor and it took about 4 seconds to get the first shoe off!  Ha!  Reid has several bug bites on his legs that he's obviously been scratching because they are scabbed over.  That gave Nora something to poke at!!  Haha!!  And later she found another scab to poke at; this time on Avilene's knee from a crash on the sidewalk!  :)  We also went outside and chased bubbles and Nora was squealing with delight.  She got hit in the head with a bubble that was bigger than her head.  :)

This picture of Nora lifting Atley's shirt is another example of Nora doing her little quirky things and it doesn't bother Atley one tiny bit!  Yesterday it was Atley's ponytail, today it's Atley's shirt.  Like I said yesterday, Atley is like the perfect friend for Nora!  When Atley gets tired of whatever Nora is doing she just stands up and walks off.  It's so cute.  Atley also pulled Nora in the wagon outside - for a few feet, then dropped the handle and walked off.   Nora just sat there looking at Atley like; "That's All!?!" Then she started sucking her thumb.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
