Nora - 8/4/2017

Nora ate brown rice and had a nibble of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate everything: meat from beef "kabobs," whole wheat elbow noodles, zucchini, peppers, and LOTS of pineapple.  Hudson was SO excited when "Nora's Song" came on while he was waiting for lunch: "Nora's Song! Nora's Song!  Open the door Nora blue!!"  :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I don't think Atley or Nora were awake from their nap yet when Reid build this blockade with some help from his sidekick assistant Bubba!  I asked Reid what they were doing and he said it was to keep "Atley and Nora from escaping!"  Well, ok I think it might work!  Haha!

I've mentioned before what an awesome job Nora does of telling me when she's poopy!  (Nothing subtle about Nora!  Yell - "Hey! I need some help here!!  Haha!!)  And she been averaging two poops in the morning for several days SO we need more diapers and wipes by Tuesday.  :)  Thank you.

All of a sudden Nora is Little Miss Climbing Monkey!!  Ha!  Here are a couple of pictures from this morning.  She got on the legos table and Reid was finding all the legos flowers and giving them to her.  She was pitching them back into the drawer about as fast as he could find them!  Haha!  As soon as we went back outside this morning she was right on top of the yellow climber.  And now she's a total pro at getting herself down too.  (She easily got down by herself from the legos table as well.)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
