Nora - 9/12/2017

Nora ate waffle and lots of grapes for breakfast.  She only had 2 or 3 bites of waffle left so I moved the bites closer to her on the plate.  She immediately moved the bites back across the plate to where they originally were!  Ha!  Cracked me up.  "I got my food where I want it!"  And apparently she did because she ate it!  For lunch she ate baked chicken, whole grain tortillas, bite or taste of roasted cabbage, and ate baked cinnamon apples.

It's been kind of a slow day around here again this morning.  Hudson has been in Denver and he'll be back tomorrow, but until the after-school kids come it's just the 3 girls; Atley, Avi, and Nora.  It always interests me how group dynamics change even at this very young age (when kids are gone, or we add new kids) and how these temperament types and personalities all fit together.  Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's a work in progress!!! And in case you're keeping score it's pretty easy with these 3 girls!!  :)

Nora and Atley were the first 2 here and it couldn't be much easier with these 2 playing together!!  They were bouncing on the mattress and then stopped to watch Lauralea brush her teeth!  Ha!  (That's solid entertainment right there!!)  It's hard to depict the bouncing and fun they're having without a video, but you get the idea in the 2nd picture by looking at Nora's hair bouncing!!  They're sitting on the edge of the mattress having a grand time!

We read stories and Avilene didn't want Nora to miss out!  "Come on Nora!"  Aww, that was sweet Avi!  After stories we went outside to play.  It's so nice that the smokey air is mostly clearing up and we can take advantage of what's left of the summer days!!  They burned up (no fire pun intended!) lots of energy outside and here's 3 pictures from this morning's activities.  First picture; Nora sees that wagon is moving.  "I'll get in that one!!"  Next picture: "How will I get down?"  Last picture: "On my belly, just like I always do!!"  :)
