Nora - 9/14/2017
Nora ate most of toasted whole wheat english muffin and ate oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. She was pretty hesitant at lunch because it was all "small" stuff to eat, but she let me feed her almost the entire meal; mixed together in the applesauce! :) She loved it. You were a good sport Nora!
Hudson was following Nora around with a stuffed animal and I had no idea what he was doing, but I soon found out! (This is the fun part about having a very verbal young child!) He said, "I'm playing a game with Nora!" Oh, that's nice of you. What kind of game are you playing? "I'm taking her to play football!" Haha! (He must see something I'm not seeing in Nora!!)
We sang songs and read lots of books. Nora was playing on the mattress and I started singing, "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands." She whirled around, sat up, and immediately started clapping her hands. So cute. Huge grin all over her face. Speaking of playing on the mattress she's finding out the mattress is not quite as safe a place to lay and suck your thumb now that Atley is obsessed with her new found 'jumping off the balance beam' skill!!! So I've had to scoot Nora to a corner of the mattress. (A small child right in the middle of a big mattress.) :)
Here are a couple pictures from this morning's activities. First picture; she's studying for the alphabet quiz coming later today!! :) She was doing some dot painting at art time and things were going fine until she got some paint on her finger and things went south in a hurry!! Haha!!
