Nora - 9/15/2017
Nora ate brown rice and a few raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of salmon, most of dinner roll, ate half of corn, and ate her mangoes.
This first picture is from yesterday afternoon. Riley had built this legos piece with Nora hanging out close beside her. After Riley finished her work Nora started playing with it and was soon filling the inside full of little legos pieces when I took the picture. She loves the detail work! Hmmm...you've heard this before!? Ok. So here's the deal - if you see a similar picture pop up day after day - it's safe to assume you're seeing a favorite activity of your child! :) (There is no end to the insights you can receive from this Blog! Ha!) With that thought in mind, I took the second picture this morning and it's more of the same with a slight twist. This toy has 5 different shapes. If you look close you can see a square and triangle shape on the side of the truck. Nora mastered the "star" shape on the top and was putting it in and taking it out over and over. Nice job Nora!! (By the way, Nora kind of fascinates me!! I love observing her behavior!! Ha!)
One more note from yesterday. Riley was making Nora laugh so hard yesterday!! Riley does this silly jumping thing (Lauralea and I call it her "froggy jump") and it is really comical. She squats low to the ground and hops around like a frog! Nora was laughing so hard and Riley was loving that too!!
This next picture is what happens almost every time I change a poopy diaper!! Atley is standing on a couple of blocks so she can see over the dress-up rack and onto the changing table. I blame some of this on Kenzie and Riley!! Haha!! When they are here after school they still want to watch when I change a poopy diaper! Geez! It seems to have become like a spectator event or something!!!!! But only with the poopy diapers. Riley says that wet diapers are boring! Ha!
Atley, Nora, Avilene, and Hudson were all searching for legos "flowers" (if you look close you can see one in Avilene's right hand), but Atley and Nora soon turned it into a very loud noise maker!! And they were laughing uproariously about their success. Hudson (you can barely see him in upper right of photo) meanwhile, with his hearing sensitivities, was not appreciating it at all and had to stand up and walk away from the noise!
