Nora - 9/18/2017
Nora ate all of her breakfast: cheerios and banana. For lunch she ate meat from taco salad, ate olives, and tomatoes, bites of lettuce and salsa. She ate bites of pita bread and ate cantaloupe.
I have a note left over from last week when Mommy was gone to Denver. Thursday and Friday when Riley came after school she was mystified because Nora was in "jeans." Haha! Thursday she asked, "Why is Nora wearing jeans?" (I hadn't noticed of course!) I don't know. You'll have to ask her Dad. So on Friday she saw jeans again and asked again; "Why did her Dad put jeans on her?!?" LOL!! Sorry, I still don't know.
I love Nora's little loves she gives. She'll come by where I'm sitting and rest her cheek or face on my knee for a moment and then continue playing. So cute. We've always called this "checking in." They just come by to "check in" and everything is good, so they continue with their work. :) I also saw her give Atley a cute love. They were waving at the window, Nora looked up at Atley, then rested her forehead for a moment on Atley's shoulder. So cute and sweet.
Lots of pictures today; it was toy exchange this weekend and the kids were real busy this morning checking out everything!! Nora studied lots of different toys including some cars, read books, and was stacking cups.
These last 2 pictures were taken minutes apart shortly before lunch. (Nora is tired and ready to eat.) Hudson went over and at first tried to use Nora for a pillow! Ha! Then he laid his head beside her and said, "Nora missing me." Right. Maybe it's you missing Nora!? She moved away from him, but he was not to be deterred. I think in the last picture he's telling her how much she misses him and trying to coax her into agreeing with him. Haha!! A couple minutes later he was playing "This piggy went to market" with her toes. You gotta give him a point for being persistent.
