Nora - 9/20/2017
Nora ate whole wheat toast and lots of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork chop, whole grain tortillas, bites of carrots and potatoes, and ate fruit salad.
The first picture: Nora got a couple of the little blocks and she's using them for her chair. Atley watched her and then got little blocks for a chair too. It's very cute how often Atley is mimicking Nora's behavior. (All the children obviously mimic each other's behavior, but I've noticed Atley doing it a lot lately.) Also, if you look closely you'll see she has a small legos piece and she was "pinning" it under her chin and holding it there. She kept working at it until she got it.
In the next picture Nora was using this doll blanket for several different things. She was wrapping it around her waist similar to a skirt. She was using it as a head covering. When I took the picture she was wrapping some toys (several sets of keys on rings - 5 or 6 keys per set.) up like a present. In the following picture Nora was stashing toys in the side pocket of the rocker/recliner chair.
I had a physical therapy appointment this morning and I was back at Daycare just a few minutes after 8:00. Nora had a huge grin for me when I got back and it was so cute. She was doing just fine with Lauralea, but I think she was glad I was back. I took the picture below when Lauralea was leaving for work and you can see Lauralea's hand waving out the car window.
