Nora - 9/21/2017

Nora had a bite of whole wheat bagel and ate lots of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of sausage & hamburger pizza, whole wheat pizza crust, olives, mushrooms, peppers, tomato sauce, and pineapple.  Plus she ate a large serving of pineapple.

Nora was pretty quiet this morning and kind of acting like she didn't feel well.  We snuggled every chance I had and about 11:00 she was feeling kind of warm.  I took her temp and she had a low grade fever - about 100.7 - so we'll see how she does after she wakes up.  I took this picture about 11:00 when she got up on the couch.  Poor sweetie.  Sophie visited this morning for probably an hour, but Nora wasn't feeling like entertaining company (ha!) and she just snuggled on my lap all the time Sophie was here.

However, I just happen to have some pictures from yesterday afternoon!!  :)  In the first picture Kenzie was making her laugh so hard!  (The old blanket over the head trick!)  In the 2nd picture she was putting the blanket over her own head and "reading."  Which cracked me up because you can't see through these doll blankets!!  Then in the last picture I had to take a picture of the back of her head after Lauralea put 2 cute little ponies in her hair!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
