Nora - 9/5/2017

Nora ate bites of whole wheat bagel and lots of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and red raspberries.

This first picture was taken shortly after Nora arrived and she was cracking me up!!  She was up and down, almost jumping, and jiving around.  She was experimenting with all kinds of new moves that I've never seen her do!  It was so cute and she's obviously getting more comfortable on her feet every day!!  Nice job Nora!!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and I think Nora noticed!  Maybe! Ha!  But she really didn't care.  Just give that girl some doll blankets or dress-up clothes and she's good to go!!  When I took this next picture she was whipping the dress-up shirt back-n-forth as fast as she could and she was cracking herself up!  Laughing loud!!  Sometimes I'll hear her laugh like that and then I'm surprised she's all alone just enjoying herself!!  In the following picture she now has a doll blanket and is sitting on the edge of the mattress.  (Probably sucking her thumb under there!!  haha!!)

In the last picture; I was showing Nora the feel and texture on Atley's shirt, but she wasn't interested.  Especially if I was trying to show her!  Haha!  (It's hard to describe what it is, but I think Nora would have liked feeling it, but she wasn't about to feel it!!)  Avi was interested in feeling it, but Atley rolled toward Nora and wouldn't let Avilene play with her shirt.  Ha!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 11/3/2017

Nora ate oatmeal and apple bites for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She ate a bite or two of dinner roll and ate apricots. These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon and the first picture has Riley feeding Nora cottage cheese for snack.  For the 2nd picture Kenzie and Riley wanted to take pictures of me reading to the kids.  (Hudson had left by this time.)  They took several pictures with my phone and I thought they did a good job.  :) All the kids know I use two pillows when I sit on the couch!  This morning I said, "Ok everyone, it's Story Time."  Nora picks up both pillows off the floor and takes them to the couch.  All the kids do that; whoever finds them, but this is the first time I've seen Nora do it!  :)  Shortly before that Hudson had apparently taken something and Nora was yelling at him.  Hudson said, "Hmmm...
