Nora - 10/24/2017

Nora ate a bite of toasted whole wheat english muffin and two big servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop, whole wheat toast, bites of beets and a couple bites of sweet potatoes, and ate applesauce.  She wasn't eating her pork chop meat, but when I was feeding her the applesauce I mixed bites of pork chop with it and she ate it all!

First, here's a correction from yesterday's Blog for everyone.  I'm sure most of you assumed this, but I confirmed with Linnea's (our new Baby coming in November) Mom that the "n" sound is NOT an "m" sound!  Ha!  So it's pronounced; "La-nay-ah."  :)  It was obviously a typo!

Nice job of coming back to wave at the kids Daddy Ryan!!  I'm glad I saw you sitting out there!  Otherwise you could have pulled into the driveway up to the window and honked the horn!  Hudson was yelling, "He came back!  He came back!!"  Haha!!

I told the kids we were going to have Story Time and Nora starts yelling and pointing up at the "Special Books!"  Ha!  Yesterday she wasn't happy because I selected books from the book rack in this toy set instead of "Special Books!!"  Do you have an opinion about anything Nora?!?  Haha!!

Here are some pictures from this morning of Nora being Nora!  Ha!  She cracks me up!  She was just laying in the first picture and Atley came over to give her a friendly "hello" and laugh with her.  :)  In the 2nd picture Nora was laughing at herself in the mirror while standing precariously on one of the school buses.  Standing on something with wheels is usually NOT a good idea Nora!!  But, on the other hand, don't move until after I get a picture!!  Ha!!  (That's the difference between a Male caregiver and a Female caregiver.  Having documentation is very important!  Haha!)  And the last two pictures: Nora put on one of the head bands (while looking in the mirror) and then was being silly with it and again Atley was there to laugh with her.  You're a good friend Atley!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
