Nora - 10/25/2017

Nora ate french toast and lots of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she had a taste of salmon loaf, no dinner roll, bites of squash, and ate a large serving of tropical fruit.  This doesn't have anything to do with Nora, but I know you get a kick out of Hudson's constant talking!  At breakfast he started chanting my name; "Gary Gary Gary..."  Hi Bubba.  "Hey Gary, can we talk to you?!?"  Yes, of course you can talk to me Bubba.  "Gary Gary Gary....uhhhh, what are you doing Gary!?!"  Bubba, I'm listening to you chatter!  :)

This is the first thing Nora went for when she arrived this morning; dress-up clothes!  She got all accessorized and was yelling because she thought Atley was getting some!  Ha!  There is plenty for everyone Nora!  :)

I had a Physical Therapy appointment early this morning and I parked the car in front of the window. The kids were at the window when Lauralea was leaving and it was so cute because Nora started blowing her kisses.  Then as Lauralea was leaving she honked the horn and Hudson (again) said, "She honked the horn; that's how she says bye!!"  As Lauralea was driving off Avilene said, "She gone." Atley is just happy to wave at ANYONE out the window!!  And She really doesn't care if they are waving back at her or not!!  :)

Nora had bonked on the side of the couch and was crying and I was giving her loves.  Avi went to the couch and had to show me exactly where it happened and was telling me all about it!!  "Right there, right there!"  Speaking of Avi I took this next picture when She and Nora were playing with the head bands.  In the last picture Nora had fun with the draw & erase board at Art time.  She and Hudson played with them far longer than the other two kids.  I'd told Nora that she had to sit to draw - and gave her another chance after she started walking with it - but she was still furious when it was time to be done.  Ha!  (Actually it was time to eat Linch!)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
