Nora - 10/27/2017

When a child arrives late to Little Treasures their Daily Blog is usually much shorter, but I have a couple pictures from yesterday afternoon to fill some space for Nora today!  :)  By the way, when I was changing her diaper before Nap time she spotted the bandaids covering her shots from this morning and she attacked them!  I wanna grab those bandaids!  Haha!  I told her that she and Mommy could deal with those later!  She ate an amazing amount of food for lunch!!  Wow!  Baked beef kabobs: meat, peppers, zucchini, and mushrooms, she also ate brown rice, and pineapple.  (A large serving of everything!)

This first picture is Kenzie and Riley doing some more school lessons with Nora!  Riley had written some numbers on the paper and then asked Nora to point to the 5, point to the 7, point to the 9, ect. Nora would just move her pointer finger all over the paper and the girls would tip their heads back and roar.  Then they'd lean up and ask for the next number.  It was the cutest thing ever!!  In the 2nd picture we were doing some sidewalk chalk and Nora was really getting into it!  She'd move to a spot someone had just abandoned and add a few of her own marks!  Haha!  (The point being; she didn't make all the marks in the picture!!)

After Nora arrived today Hudson had ALL the dress-up clothes and ALL the doll blankets in a pile.  Nora and Atley both tried to play with some, but a fight broke out.  :)  So why do you want ALL the clothes and All the blankets Hudson!?  His answer; "I'm doing Laundry!"  LOL!  That totally hit my funny bone!  (The two girls did not see the humor!  Ha!)  He's the only person I know who likes to Mow the Lawn AND do Laundry!  Haha This last picture: I'd just asked Nora to show me her eye.  What a Cutie!!  And it took her mind off Hudson's laundry pile!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
