Nora - 10/31/2017

Nora ate a bite or two of whole wheat bagel and lots of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate everything: shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and lots of raspberries.  Hudson didn't want his raspberries and Avi immediately said she "want Bubba's berries."  Nora picked up on what Avi had just said and she started pointing and yelling for Bubba's berries too!!  Ha! Cracked me up!  (They both got a few of them!)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  This age group is so "monkey see, monkey do!"  One will start playing with a particular toy, they all want to play with the same toy.  I can't remember who was on the floor first, but obviously they ALL ended up on the floor!  And more or less all pointed in the same direction!  (This never lasts very long so I have to be quick with the camera!!)

Here are the kids waving bye to Daddy Ryan.  You know what I like best about this picture?  Yes, Atley's bat-girl cape is pretty stinking cute, but most of all I like how Ryan is holding up traffic!  Well done Daddy!  Haha!  (Just kidding!)

Here's another picture at the window - except this time it's just Nora and Atley checking things out with the doll blankets over their head!!  We sang songs, read lots of books, built with the big legos, and did some more sign language!!  Like Momma Emily and I were talking about yesterday Nora is very interested in some of the signs and is picking up on them!!

The girl is needing some privacy!  :)  Is this too cute or what!?!  Maybe if I crawl back into this corner no one will notice!?!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
