Nora - 10/3/2017

Nora had bites of whole wheat bagel and lots of grapes for breakfast.  She ate all of her lunch as well: shrimp, a large serving of brown rice, ate stir fry vegetables, and raspberries.

Do you believe in miracles!?  I do!  And I have a picture right here to prove they happen!!  Haha! Just kidding Daddy Ryan!!  (You have a great sense of humor and I'm taking advantage of it!  Thank you.)  Daddy Ryan was determined to stop and wave at the kids today and we were all ready!!  Isn't this cute?! I love it!  You notice Nora has her iPod in her right hand - not about to turn loose of that!

Several weeks back I posted a very similar picture in this same setting!  Well, as you can see these two are still doing the identical same thing after EVERY meal!  So cute.  Atley is almost always done before Nora and she has to give her "five" every time she passes.  And Nora is always waiting for it!  Seriously, they NEVER miss a time of doing this.

As you well know Nora likes to drag stuff along behind her as she walks.  In the picture below she has an apron from the dress-up clothes.  The problem with that is this:  It offers the perfect opportunity for someone, and in this example it is Atley, to grab it and harass Nora!!  Atley grabbed it, then she was intentionally stepping on it!  The motivation behind this kind of behavior is usually just to get a reaction!  And as you can well imagine, Nora was giving her a reaction on Steroids!!  Haha!  Yelling and Screaming!  Ok, Atley quit terrorizing your good friend!  Haha!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
