Nora - 10/6/2017

Nora ate some of her oatmeal and ate baked apples with cinnamon for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with ground beef, green beans, potatoes, and carrots, ate most of dinner roll, and ate apricots.

Nora yelled about something this morning and I looked around to see what that was about....Hudson saw me looking and said, "That's just Nora."  Haha!  That made me laugh!  Also, when we were at the window waving bye to Momma Emily and Nora was slapping at the window.  A few seconds after you drove off she started waving and kept waving for ate least 20 or more seconds!!

This first picture is anther one with her buddy Riley from yesterday afternoon.  Nora was using Riley's tummy as a drum - with lots of encouragement from Kenzie and Riley!  And of course she was doing her "belly laughs!"

We did some building with the blocks and Nora was watching Avi at work - wanting to cover some of the blocks with her blanket.

Atley was racing across the floor and ended up in the igloo.  Then she was trying to coax Nora to come inside the igloo with her; and it worked.  They played in there laughing and giggling for several minutes.

She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
