Nora - 11/13/2017

Nora ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of ground beef, maybe a bite or two of whole grain pita bread, ate lettuce and tomato, bites of avocado, ate cantaloupe.

The new baby, Linnea, is here today and she was pretty fussy when Hudson and Nora arrived (at the same time)!  She was getting very tired and scrubbing her eyes and a short time later she was asleep! Nora and Hudson stared at her like she was a foreign creature and it was so funny!  (Daddy Ryan seemed a bit shocked at hearing the baby cry too!  Haha!  Thank you for your condolences and encouragement when you were leaving Ryan!  You had me laughing so hard!  Ha!!)  Nora was pretty concerned about it all, but she's already adjusting to having another baby here!  She got some snuggle time with her Gary and I reassured her that she is loved and adored!!  :)

I apologize for the blurriness of this first picture!  My camera is starting to have issues!  So I'll probably start using the camera on my phone and see how that goes!  It was just SO cute when Nora took off her socks and immediately turned around and handed them to Hudson.  "Here you go Hudson!"  He knew exactly what to do; he accepted them, got off the couch, and took them to the changing table!  Thank you Bubba!  Someday she'll be able to reach up there!  I thought it was funny how she just skipped the step of trying to reach up there herself!  She's pretty smart!

Here are some more pictures from Nora's morning.  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Nora was watching Avi use the new combs on her hair!  I was taking a picture of Avilene and I didn't even realize you could see Nora's reflection in the mirror.  She is intently watching Avi!!  In the 2nd picture Nora is trucking off to her private bathroom!  :)  In the last picture she was playing with one of the dolls.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
