Nora - 11/29/2017

Nora ate whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, several bites of squash, and a large serving of fruit salad.

When Avi's Daddy Andy was leaving he asked Avi, "Can I have a love?"  Nora was standing at the gate and just lifted up her arms and he hoisted her up and got a hug.  So cute!  So I told him he should be feeling pretty special because not everyone gets that opportunity with Nora!!  :)  Then Avi hugged her Daddy and of course Atley was ready for a turn as well.

Nora was doing a LOT of singing this morning; the most I've ever heard her sing.  And quite loud I might add.  So cute.  Just strolling around singing.  Also this morning I saw she was at one of the mirrors and she was "flossing" her teeth with the rubber band that originally held her ponytail in place!  Haha!  She had that sucker stretched WAY out, but it didn't break!  (She frequently sees me flossing my teeth and maybe she sees you at home as well.)  It was so cute and funny.

Pictures from this morning: There is a zipper on the back of the chair that they frequently squabble over - no more - After I took the picture I snipped the little pull handle of the zipper off with wire cutters.  Ha!  (I feel so successful!)  Next picture; Nora was watching me put a headband on Hudson and she came running with one for her.  :)  Last picture: I love how she stretches up to "deposit" her socks on the changing table.  She is such a little cutie!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
