Nora - 11/7/2017
Nora ate most of her waffle and ate two big servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of baked chicken, bites of whole grain tortillas, ate cabbage salad, and two servings of baked cinnamon apples. Yesterday afternoon we had bagel and tomato juice for snack. Nora was dunking her bagel bites in the tomato juice (and eating it) and Kenzie said, "Instead of whole wheat bagel, it's tomato bread!!" :)
Also from yesterday, Hudson had decided it was time to teach Nora how to jump off the blue balance beam. (Hey, Kenzie taught him how to jump, so now he's gonna pass on the favor! Hmm.) Only one small problem with that Bubba - no one bothered to ask Nora what she thought! Haha! Let's just say she wasn't impressed or in favor of the idea! She's already nervous on the blue balance beam and definitely doesn't want someone touching her while she's up there!! But she's getting more brave walking on it all the time.
Daddy Ryan, I'm kinda sorry to pick on you, but I have to tell you what the kids said when you drove by this morning!! Hudson said, "He didn't wave at us!! And Avilene's reply was SO classic; "Maybe he'll come back!!" I roared!! (For those that may not remember, Daddy Ryan has made a return trip back to wave at least once or twice. So Ryan, I can almost promise you this will not cause any lasting damage that will cause them to seek counseling at a later date. (But just in case, maybe you should start a therapy fund!! haha!!)
We read books, did some dot painting at Art Time, and Nora rode in the swivel/rocker while Avilene spun it around and around. Look at that big grin in the picture below! She's loving it! Then Hudson had asked Nora, "Wanna hug?" She immediately stopped and went for the hug. It was so cute. So I got the camera and asked Hudson if he'd ask her again. That's when I took the last picture. Hudson said, "She laid her head right on my shoulder." I probably haven't mentioned this lately, but I LOVE having Nora at Little Treasures! She is so precious and a joy to take care of! Thank you so much!!
