Nora - 12/12/2017

Nora ate half of toasted whole wheat english muffin and a few bites of dried plums.  For lunch she ate everything; a large serving of chicken with stir fry vegetables, large serving of brown rice, and two servings of oranges.

Nora was doing LOTS of playing with the dress-up clothes over her head.  She hasn't done that for a few days.  Atley joined in the fun.  She was watching Nora for a couple minutes and then grabbed a shirt and jammed her head in the arm sleeve and stretched it tight!  Pretty funny!  They were laughing and having a good time.

I took this picture when Hudson was covering Nora with a blanket and she was soaking up the attention.  Just prior to this Hudson had all the doll blankets and was rolling them up individually.  He said, "I'm gonna go jump after I'm done doing laundry."  :)

Here's an "activity" that happens at least once a week!  (And today.)  I have several gold crowns and Hudson said, "I wanna see your golden teeth."  (That came from Reid and Cooper.)  Then Nora and the others all want to look too of course.  Those crowns have been worth every penny just for the entertainment value!!  :)

We read lots of books and colored coffee filters at art time.  I took the last picture when Nora and Atley were playing with the baby saucer this morning.  I got it out of storage for Linnea and of course everyone thinks it a new toy to play with.  Atley is obsessed with it!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
