Nora - 12/13/2017
Nora ate bites of whole wheat toast and two large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate some pork roast, some whole grain tortillas, ate carrots, and mixed fruit.
First thing this morning Hudson and Nora picked up right where they left off yesterday morning. (See picture posted yesterday.) She was in the swivel rocker chair, he covered her with blankets, he started spinning the chair, and Nora sat there like a queen sucking her thumb and giggling. :) Hudson said, "I'm spinning Nora."
I took this first picture of them waiting at the gate with their paint shirts on! Come on Gary! We're ready! Just take the picture!! Haha! I frequently try different ways to set up art that will help it flow smoothly. With this age group the less time they have to sit and do nothing, the better. So this time I had the paper, paint, and brushes all ready to go when they went to table. (You can see Hudson is intently studying the set up!) The next picture shows the kids busy at work after they set down!
I took this last picture of Nora after she had finished lunch. She couldn't hardly wait to go to where Baby Linnea was sitting in her saucer. I like how Nora is pointing at the Baby's face. Nora never touched the baby's face (that's out of bounds! ha!), but she got her finger as close as she possibly could without making contact!! :)
