Nora - 12/18/2017
Nora ate chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of ground beef, half of whole wheat hamburger bun serving, ate tomato, lettuce, most of her avocado serving, and ate oranges.
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids had lots of fun exploring all the toys. Like I've mentioned many times we rarely do anything extra (except read lots of the new books) on toy exchange Monday! When I took this first picture of Nora wearing one of the animal masks, while watching Atley with her mask. Atley was the first to put on a mask and then everyone was trying them on. This is Nora's preferred method of wearing one!! :)
Monday's are always interesting - especially Monday mornings - as the Daycare kids reestablish their spot in the Daycare. Totally fascinating to me! It's extra challenging for someone with a temperament like Nora because they haven't had to share space or toys or attention with siblings over the weekend and then back to those stinking Daycare siblings!! "Hey! I want that book you have!" (Did you happen to notice there are 25 plus more books laying on the floor!?) "Hey! You're in the chair and that happens to be MY chair!!" Dang!! It's just SO hard to guard the chair, the books, the doll blankets, and everything else all at the same time!! :) So I think I'll just go lay on the mattress and cover my head with some doll blankets!! When Nora does this I always think she's going to her "Happy Place" in her head! (Where she's the boss of her own Kingdom!! Haha!)
Atley was working so hard to get Nora to join her in the igloo! She'd run out of the igloo and do a "fake charge" at Nora and then go back in the igloo. Nora was giggling every time and Atley kept doing it. Finally Nora couldn't stand it any longer and had to join her. So cute.
