Nora - 12/20/2017

Nora ate half of french toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bite of salmon loaf, bites of dinner roll, bites of squash, and ate a large serving of tropical fruit.

Well I haven't posted a picture of Nora and Riley lately so here we go!!  Nora gets LOTS of special treatment from Riley - and from Kenzie as well.  They were just messing around kind of wrestling when I took this picture.  And watching themselves in the mirror! 

I took a picture of Nora bouncing on the mattress this morning while performing for Lauralea.  I intentionally took a side view here so you can get an idea what she's doing!  She's in the middle of bouncing hard - so hard in fact that she bumped her chin on the blue balance beam on the way down!! I'm not sure if she realizes she's the one who caused it, because she was still grazing it every time!! (She looks like a little piston going up and down - and this picture is at the top of the stroke!)

These last two pictures were taken while Nora and Atley were having so much fun!  Atley was dropping stuffed animals on Nora's head from behind the chair.  So I took a picture of the back view so you could see Atley at work!  They were laughing so hard.  I don't think I've ever heard Nora laugh quite that hard; very deep belly laughs.  So stinking cute.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
