Nora - 12/21/2017

Nora ate bites of waffle and ate fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a couple bites of shepherds pie with hamburger, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She ate whole grain tortillas and ate a large serving of cherries.

I want to wish all of Nora's family a Merry Christmas!  She's a wonderful little girl, I love her a ton, and I'm thankful to be a part of her life and your life.!  :)  Little Treasures is closed Friday - Monday. The next Blog will be on Tuesday the 26th.

Here's a picture of Nora headed somewhere with a pillow that's almost as big as she is!!  She's watching herself in the mirror!  She (and most of the kids) love those mirrors!  Uhhh...maybe she likes them more than most!  Ha!

Here's the story behind the picture: We'd been reading some Christmas books and the kitchen timer signaled me to turn on the oven.  When I came back out Hudson said, "We are being so patient!"  And they were!!  It was so cute and that's when I moved them closer together to get a group picture.  And that was when Nora decided to cut and run!  She wanted no part of a group picture, but she'd been patiently waiting as well until that point!!

We did some dot painting today.  Hudson has been asking for dot painting all week so today we dot painted on snowmen and Christmas stockings.  If you look closely at the table you can see that dot painting activity does lots of splattering.  They all love it and it's easy to clean up!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
