Nora - 12/27/2017

Nora ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, taste of squash (she stuck her finger in it and licked her finger), and ate fruit salad.

Yesterday there were only two kids here; today all five are here except there will be no after school kids.  Kenzie and Riley are at the Grandparents Farm because of no school this week.  Nora was so cute when she arrived and so excited.  She was grinning, giggling, running, being silly for several minutes.  Back and forth across the room.  She gets so excited and squealing - acting like she's not sure what to do next!  She was bouncing lightly on the mattress until she noticed Lauralea watching her and it was "full speed ahead!"  Big Bounces!  :)  Here are a couple pictures of her and Atley playing on the mattress and then in the igloo.  (Atley is in the igloo and I like how Nora's legs make a perfect "U" shape!)

Hudson and Nora were looking out the window and He started flipping (gently) her ponytail.  He asked, "Do you want me to fix your pony?"  Haha!  Right Bubba!  Cracked me up and Nora looked at him like he was cracked!  :)

Nora was so cute when Baby Linnea got up from her nap.  I was holding the baby on the couch and Nora climbed up and it looked like she was trying to get the baby to give her "five."  But I think she was wanting to hold the baby's hand or fingers.  Later she was holding a doll blanket over the baby and Linnea managed to get a good grip on the blanket.  Nora started whining trying to get the blanket away from the baby.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
