Nora - 12/6/2017

Nora ate most of french toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of paleo stew with hamburger, carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, and broccoli.  She ate saltines and tropical fruit too.  During Lunch Hudson was saying, "Nora is Ba-nay-a!  Hi Banaya, hi Banaya!"  What a goof!  That's what he has chosen to call Baby La-nay-a!  Nora just looked at him like what are you talking about!?!  :)

Nora came in with almost half of a cheese stick.  It seemed like only a minute or two later and I asked, "Where's your cheese stick?"  She opened her mouth wide to show me it was gone down there somewhere!  Haha!  Then I turned on some music and she immediately started cutting some serious dance moves so I took this first picture!  :)  She was also throwing herself around on the mattress again for Lauralea's benefit!  Avi went through that stage as well.  Now that I think about it, Avilene still loves performing when she sees Lauralea.  Maybe Nora got it from her!

Nora was laying on the pillow and wasn't happy when Atley joined her - until Atley started reading the book aloud and that made Atley's presence more acceptable.  :)  We read lots of books and did some dot painting at art time.  Nora really gets into it and covered her whole paper.  In the last picture Nora put this dress-up shirt over her head and Atley gave her a love.  So I got the camera and they willingly helped me recreate the scene!  Nice job girls!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
