Nora - 12/7/2017

Nora ate bites of whole wheat english muffin and ate two servings of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate everything: ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.

All of the children LOVE the new baby and it's so cute and sweet!!  Nora was playing close to her and the baby managed to grasp Nora's sleeve.  And of course a baby has a tight grip!  Nora kind of struggled to pull away and it totally surprised her.  I loved the look on Nora's face; like what the heck was that about!?!  Haha!

I took these first 2 pictures yesterday afternoon.  Kenzie loves doing everyone's hair and they all like having her do it too!!  She's takes them out, one at a time, to the living room and they get the "special treatment!"  The next picture cracked me up!  Hudson was "teaching" Nora  her colors!  (He is in the lower right part of the picture in case you missed him!)  There is only a slight problem with this; Hudson doesn't know all of his colors yet either!!  Ha!  I might be red-green color blind, but at least I can read the labels on the color poster!!  haha!!

Nora was practicing some balance moves on the blocks when I took this picture.  The blue block came off right after the picture and it made her furious!  Ha!  I told her she could "fix it" and she went right back and worked on it!  Good job Nora!   She also played with Atley on the balance beam and they were going down the little slide on their bellies.  We read books and did some Christmas stickers at art time.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
