Nora - 12/8/2017

Nora ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of salmon, no dinner roll, ate corn, and mangoes.

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Nora was playing with one of the doll hats and then started putting it on top of her own head.  Silly Nora.  Kenzie actually took this second picture, but I like how Nora was just watching Atley be her usual silly self.  These two kids play together and enjoy each other, but they are so different!  Nora's "world view" may be slightly more serious minded than Atley's!!  Haha!  The picture says it best!

We had another typical morning of reading stories, singing, and playing on the mattress!  I took this picture when Nora moved out to the middle of the mattress and lay there sucking her thumb.  I think I heard her say something like this; "Now why would you suggest I be the one to move?!?  After all this is the Queen's mattress!"  :)

All the kids were pretty sure I got the baby saucer down for everyone except the baby!  Haha!  Hudson said, "I want to sit in it."  This may not be the most flattering picture of baby Linnea, but she was in the middle of sneezing!  :)  Can't delete that!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
