Nora - 1/29/2018
Nora ate kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of turkey burger, bites of hamburger bun, ate lettuce salad with tomatoes, and ate cherries.
We had a humorous incident this morning and I'll try to set it up for you. A volunteer with the Sheriff's Department came by to pick up a check for a fundraiser they do every year. The volunteer was a character about my age with long white hair and white beard. (Like Santa Claus without the suit!) He had stepped just inside the front door and of course the kids were lined up at the big white gate to see who it was. When he saw the kids he started talking loudly (and perfectly I might add) like "Donald Duck." Oh man, Avi took off running, Atley started laughing, and Nora immediately backed off and sucked her thumb more vigorously! Hudson's not here, but his reaction would probably have been negative! :)
When I brought Baby Linnea out from her morning nap Nora was pointing toward the floor in front of the mirror where I frequently lay the Baby. "Lay her right there!" And she kept pointing vigorously! Ha! Well I think I'll snuggle her for a few minutes first! :)
Here are some pictures from this morning's activities: Nora was filling this cup with jingle bells and at first she was just shaking it, but then it turned into a game of how much the cup could hold!! In the 2nd picture Nora was working hard to get on this little sleeper outfit. But it's not from the dress-up clothes, it's for the dolls. Ha! (It was frustrating her that she couldn't get it on!) You are little Nora, but not that little!! :) In the last picture she had just sat down beside the baby and starting giving the baby some toys. One is in the Baby's hand and then Nora laid the doll bottle right tight against the baby's neck! :)
