Nora - 2/12/2018

Nora ate chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a couple bites of ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate a large salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and ranch dressing, ate half of avocado serving, and she ate a large serving of oranges.

Everyone is here today!!  Wow!  First time since February 1st!  Hopefully we can keep this going now.  There are still lots of runny noses, sneezing and coughing, but I think they're all getting better.  I spend so much time washing my hands!!  Haha!  Wipe noses, wash hands!  Change diapers, wash hands!  Get sneezed on...oh well, skip the hand washing!  10:00 and my hands look like prunes!  (Not that I really care!  I'm just filling Blog space!  Ha!)

Everyone was so happy to see Baby Linnea!  She is such a doll and grins at everyone!  It's no wonder why we all enjoy her so much!!  In the first picture Nora and Avilene were vying for Baby's attention while the Baby grinned at the camera!  A while later she was starting to fuss and I said, "Are you ready to go night night Baby?"  Nora started singing, "night night baby" and pointing up at the Baby's pajamas to make sure I didn't forget!  :)

At Story Time we were reading "Five Little Ducks" and every time mother duck said, "quack quack quack quack" (four quacks every time) Nora was say it with me.  It was cute and funny.  In the next picture we were just messing around doing "selfies" and they were watching themselves in the camera.  In the last picture Nora was playing on the chair and Hudson started pushing her fast and she was squealing and laughing!  Hudson asked, "Is it fun Nora!?!"  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
