Nora - 2/13/2018

Nora ate half of toasted whole wheat english muffin and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of pork chop, ate whole wheat bread, bites of roasted vegetables (carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes), and two servings of applesauce.

Nora was playing on the mattress and stubbed her toe on something and was screaming at an impressive pitch and volume.  Hudson felt the need to inform me that "Nora's crying."  Oh, that's what that is; thanks for the heads-up Bubba!!  :)

Nora was doing her usual showing-off for Lauralea bouncing on the mattress, but then she started running in circles.  Not spinning, but running in a circle.  Super cute.

Here are some pictures from the morning activities: Atley really likes doing the splits and she tries to keep going lower and lower.  It was so cute when Nora joined her and they were working on it together.  (Which highly amused both of them!)  In the 2nd picture Nora was upset about something that didn't go quite the way she thought it should and she went over, laid on the floor, and flopped a doll blanket across her head.  "Sometimes when life overwhelms me I just go to my quiet place."  :) In the last picture Hudson was trying to get Nora to join him and Avi in holding hands and jumping on the mattress together.  Moments later Hudson made a sweeping motion with his hand and said, "These are all my people."  Haha!  Cracked me up!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
