Nora - 2/22/2018

Nora ate french toast (with syrup) and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, bites of brown rice, ate a large serving of stir fry vegetables and a large serving of raspberries.

We had a fun morning playing, working hard, reading books, and doing some coloring on coffee filters at art.  It was fun watching the three girls (Hudson will be back tomorrow) do "copy-cat play" running back-n-forth across the room, weaving in and out of pillows, from the gate to the mirror. If one falls down (intentional or unintentional) then the next one has to fall down too.

Here are some pictures from Nora's morning.  1st picture she is putting legos flowers on her fingers. In the 2nd picture Avi was pushing the chair around and around.  And she was jabbering the entire time as well!  Primarily about "mom take me to the carousel."  You'll also notice in the 2nd picture that Atley is closely watching Nora!  Nora had been pouting mad because Atley had the audacity to climb in the chair beside her.  But she was soon happy when Avi started giving them a free ride!  In the last picture she is "ringing" a little door bell on the play house.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
