Nora - 2/23/2018

Nora had several bites of oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes.  She had two servings of apricots and no whole wheat dinner roll.

I took this picture yesterday when I was changing Nora's diaper.  Avi was standing on a couple of blocks and was making the "I love you" sign with her left hand.  It was pretty stinking cute.  You know what!?  I have to put up with a LOT of cuteness every day!!  :)

I was teasing Hudson this morning and he seemed slightly offended when I told him the noise level had increased exponentially this morning compared to the rest of the week when he was gone.  Haha! It wasn't JUST his incessant talking, but the others were also excited to have him back.  Avilene was the last one here and Daddy Andy heard the uproar, just wished me luck and took off!  :)  Lauralea seemed relieved to be heading out the door as well!  Haha!!

Here are a couple of pictures from this morning's activities.  Atley and Nora were sitting side-by-side reading (Very Loud I might add! I know that's hard to believe!) and it was cute.  Notice that Nora's book is upside-down!  Remember; that's 2 books for the price of one!!  :)  In the last picture Nora was covering Linnea with a doll blanket and Avilene had just yelled to me; "Linnea went over to the changing table Gary!"  Haha!!  Well, maybe she's feeling the need for a diaper change!  (She's rolling all over the place.)

It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
