Nora - 2/26/2018
Nora ate kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast. For lunch she ate bite of turkey burger, bite of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate salad with lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing; she also ate avocado, and cherries.
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and the kids were very busy all morning. I took this first picture shortly after Nora arrived. Being surrounded by new toys can be somewhat overwhelming! She had toys in each hand, but she was still yelling because she was sure Atley was playing with one that she needed! Or maybe she was mad because she only has 2 hands!? :) She did better as the morning progressed.
I love how comfortable Nora is getting on the balance beam; yes, she's still very careful, but she's stepping and jumping off onto the mattress with lots more confidence! Nice job Nora. It's fun to watch you develop those large motor skills! I just added this next picture after she was playing on the end of the slide. This green piece flips over and there are steps on the other side, but she was making it very plain she wanted to play with the slide.
We were getting ready for Story Time and Hudson spotted our neighbor shoveling snow off his sidewalk; "There's big Willy!" (You can see him across the street at the top of the picture.) Nora, Atley, and Avi (left to right) ran to the window to wave at him. Like I've mentioned several times He loves it when the kids wave at him! :) As long as they keep banging on the window he'll stand there and wave. Ha!
