Nora - 2/8/2018

Nora ate most of whole wheat bagel serving and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ham and sausage pizza with whole wheat pizza crust, tomato sauce, olives, peppers, mushrooms, and pineapple.  She ate two servings of pineapple on the side as well.

So Nora was trying to tell me something this morning and it sounded like this; "yeeeeeeee!!!"  Ha!  Well, I have no idea what you're trying to tell me Nora.  So she just says it louder; "YEEEEEEEE!!"  (Apparently she's noticed the hearing aids too!)  Haha!  Can you show me what you want?  No.  Well I guess we'll just have to move on to something else.  :)

Linnea and Atley are still out today so it's just Nora, Avi, and Hudson here until the after-school kids arrive.  Hudson was making an announcement this morning, but Nora didn't care or even realize that she was included.  :)  "It's past your bedtime guys!"  Avi yells; "NO!!"  Hudson said, "You have one more minute!"  Avi yells; "NO!"  Haha!  Now what are you gonna do Hudson!?  :)

Here are a couple of pictures from this morning's activities.  Daddy Ryan got to watch the beginning of the first activity before he left.  Nora was kind of beside herself with excitement to be practicing puzzle pieces again!  Avi was being a great helper and assistant for me!  She would point to where the piece needed to go and then if Nora couldn't get it Avi would help put it in the right spot.  Nora found it was much easier to just immediately hand it to Avi; "Here, you do it!!"  Ha!  In the last picture I was putting glue on their paper and they would put the animals on the glue.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
