Nora - 2/9/2018

Nora ate several bites of oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bite or two of tilapia, and large servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and applesauce.  At breakfast she was saying, "oh oh, oh oh!!!"  What?  She'd spotted some oatmeal on Avi's bib.  Haha!  Thank you Nora.  Then at the lunch table she was singing, "Na na na na, na na na na."  What's she singing Hudson?  He recognized the tune and said, "Night night Baby."  You're right!  Good job Nora.  (The fact that no baby is here today is totally irrelevant!  Haha!)

These first pictures are from yesterday afternoon!  The kids had so much fun outside and it was great! The temperature was about 50 degrees, but we still bundled up good because that breeze was very cool.  A little different from today!!  Snow and 15 degrees when I got up this morning!!  Nora pushed the ice cream carts up and down the sidewalk, played with the balls, and in the 3rd picture she had been sitting in the wagon yelling and kept pointing to the handle; "Someone get over here and pull this wagon around for me!!"  Ha!  She cracks me up!  So Avi eventually made it over there, examined the door, but never did pull it!  :)
 

We had fun reading books this morning, painting at Art Time, and generally just experimenting with how life works at this age!  :)  Hudson was at the window yelling, "Hey Gary!  Big Willy getting his mail!"  So Avi, Hudson, and Nora all ran and stood at the window banging on it and waving to our neighbor!  Willy LOVES it when the kids wave at him.  So cute.  Then I took this last picture when Nora was experimenting with various stances and watching herself in the mirror.  I was giggling at her and Avi ran to join in the fun too!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
