Nora - 3/21/2018
Nora ate half of whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce, whole wheat spaghetti noodles, bites of squash, and two servings of fruit salad.
Everyone is here today and they were all glad to see Bubba. Nora kept watching him and just grinning or giggling at his antics. He wanted to help Nora do some puzzles and we have a system that works great and she is learning, but is also willing to have one of the other kids help her if she can't get it, or gets tired of trying. We finished one puzzle and I got another one and Hudson said, "That one's super tricky!" :)
Hudson wanted to snuggle and take pictures so Nora got on the couch beside us and I held the camera up so she could see herself. Nothing like a "selfie" to make a (almost) two year old grin!! (Or a 20 year old as well! Ha!)
Next picture: All I have to say; "Does anyone want to do sign language!" or "Does anyone want to sing some songs?" or "Does anyone want to do Hickity Pickity?" And they race to the step below the window and I sit in the chair facing them. In the picture everyone is looking at Hudson and I'm sure he was sharing some of his insights learned at the petting zoo in Arizona while he was gone! :) Nora was so excited and interested during this time. She was doing several of the signs we do and it was so cute.
Nora actually had a good morning of NOT yelling at her friends nearly as much. You did great Nora and I (and probably your friends as well) really appreciate it! Before I took this picture she was standing in front of the chair, sucking her thumb and getting agitated because Atley was in the chair. Ask Atley if you can sit with her. So we did and Atley scooted right over. Tell Atley "thank you" and Nora did. I try to catch her before it's a full-blown yelling moment!! What are they looking at in the picture?!? I don't know! But I'm guessing it's Bubba! Haha! Probably expounding on more of his helpful insights! :) Just for kicks here is a Bubbaism from this morning: He asked Baby Linnea; "Do you think Gary's funny?" To me he said, "She thinks you're funny Gary!" Haha! That's a smart girl Bubba!!
