Nora - 4/11/2018

Nora ate most of french toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of "Whole 30" chili with meat, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, and spices.  She had a couple bites of whole wheat dinner roll, and ate tropical fruit.

Here's a picture of Hudson and Nora waving to Daddy Ryan at the window this morning!  Hudson said, "I wanna wear a mask to wave at him!!"  Ha!  Hey Ryan, Nora had her socks off before you drove by; before I took this picture!  Hilarious!!  You'd barely closed the door when she dropped to the floor and yanked them off!  The following picture was taken pretty early this morning as well.  Atley and Nora were at their old bouncing spot (it's been a few weeks since they've bounced) and when Hudson squeezed in to bounce too Nora was not thrilled about that!!  :)  Right before I took the picture Nora was relaxing, laying back on the mattress, and then Bubba showed up!!  Ha!  She sprang into action!!

Several times this morning Nora was covering Linnea's head with a doll blanket.  Over and over! Thank goodness Linnea is such a mellow little trooper and she never gets upset about this!  In the next picture however, Linnea had grabbed the blanket and when I first noticed what was happening the blanket was stretched out tight between these two!  Haha!  Looked like a tug-of-war!  Then in the 2nd picture Linnea had rolled over onto Nora.  I saw Linnea get a handful of hair a couple times this morning as well.  Nora never yells about that!

We also did some dot painting this morning and Nora had her arm laying in the paint!  Haha!  I was surprised she let me wait until lunch (only 15 minutes) to wash off her arm!!  But she wasn't concerned at all.  She just looked at it a couple of times and sucked on her thumb!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
