Nora - 4/12/2018

Nora ate most of waffle and two servings of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate half of whole grain tortillas, and ate cherries.

The first picture - fun times with Atley.  They were laughing uproariously and you can't listen and watch them having fun without laughing too!  Atley is a bit blurry in this picture, for good reason, but if you look closely you can see she's having a blast as well as Nora.

Nora loves Linnea just like ALL the daycare kids love Linnea!  And it's pretty obvious why!!  Linnea loves the interaction with everyone and she never yells or complains about what they do to her.  Nora LOVES to cover Linnea's head with doll blankets, every day, many times a day!!  More than once I've said to one of the kids; "Please move off of Linnea.  You have to be gentle with the baby."  Linnea is no help whatsoever during these times because she's usually laughing!!  Here are a couple pictures of Nora and Linnea - Nora is checking out Linnea's toys in the first picture and in the second picture Linnea is moving in on Nora and grabbing her book!  This morning when I was feeding Linnea a bottle Nora came over and laid her head on my leg (common occurrence during bottle time) and Linnea started pushing against Nora's head with her foot and then doing it harder and faster.  She was essentially kicking Nora in the head over and over!  Nora just starts laughing!  :)
 

Here's a picture of Nora showing she has the most common sense in the Daycare!  She's jumping off onto the mattress (a much softer landing!!) and the other three are going off head-first onto the hard floor.  Hmmm...  :)  Nora loves showing off by jumping every time Lauralea comes into the room and that's what she was doing here!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
