Nora - 4/17/2018

Nora ate most of whole wheat bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, most of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.

I have a note left over from yesterday afternoon.  Nora was playing with the doll clothes and working hard to fit herself into a tiny one-piece thing!  I realized what she was doing when she started getting more furious by the second and was soon screaming and crying!  Sorry Nora, but that only fits the dolls.  :)

Nora was sitting on my lap after Mommy dropped her off and she saw a school bus drive by.  Nora loves her school buses!!  "Coo bus, coo bus."  Then she obviously associated that with Riley going to school.  "Ri Ri, Ri Ri."  I wanted to hear her say "school bus" again so I said, "Hey Nora, say school."  She said, "bus."  Haha!  That made me laugh!!  "School" and "bus" just go together!!

Here are some pictures from this morning.  First picture; Nora took these "binoculars" and stood in front of the mirror to watch herself.  Remember how this was her favorite spot for many many months at Little Treasures, but look at it now!!  The mirror is too short for you Nora!!  (If she does a 180 degree turn there is a mirror directly behind her!  But she has always LOVED this mirror!!)  Second picture; Hudson and Avi were spinning with their eyes shut and getting pretty dizzy!!  Nora and Atley joined them and just started falling down!  They just skipped the spinning step!  Hey, it saves time!!  :)  Then in the last two pictures:  Nora was playing with the legos and building a little tower.  Then Nora and Atley were reading books on the couch and reading aloud.  (I still call this "parallel play" - just a larger gap between them!!  Ha!)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
