Nora ate most of her breakfast: brown rice and raisins.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She had a bite of whole wheat dinner roll and ate a large serving of apricots.  At breakfast I always ask the kids "what'd you do last night?" It's one of our rituals and over the years there are some hilarious stories associated with these "disclosures."  Haha!  I always ask Nora; "Did you play with Birdie?"  "Yes."  "Did you play on the swings?"  "Yes."  "Did you chase squirrels?"  "Yes."  :)  When I asked Avilene that question she answered;  "No, I chased soccer ball."  :)

The kids had so much fun outside yesterday afternoon and today is another beautiful day.  We played with bubbles for the first time this spring and the kids had a blast.  In this first picture below you can see the bubble wand in Riley's hand and she's racing back to reload some more bubbles.  :)  I let Kenzie and Riley run the bubble show!

Nora was singing the "ABC" song and I could understand several of the letters as she sang.  Very cool Nora!  Then Avi asked Nora, "You wanna do knucks!?"  Nora immediately put her fist up for the knuckle exchange!  :)  Then Avi asked her; "You wanna give me five?"  So they slapped five.  The thing I like best is how they use and understand language with each other.  So fun to observe and be a part of this.

Here are a couple of pictures from this morning.  So why jump on the soft mattress when you can land on the hard floor!?!  Made my knees hurt to watch!  :)  Doesn't that hurt?!  Avi said, "No."  Nora was walking up these green steps standing upright and concentrating very hard.  Great job Nora.  You are getting more brave every day and your balance is awesome.  (She walked up all three steps and across the blue balance beam standing upright.  The last picture; Having some story time with Linnea.  :)
