Nora - 4/24/2018
Nora ate waffle and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate baked chicken, bite of whole grain tortilla, ate a large serving of corn, and a large serving of baked cinnamon apples.
All the kids are really into doing puzzles right now! Several times a day! I was standing and talking to Lauralea and I didn't notice Nora had finished her puzzle. She brought it over and laid in on my feet. Haha! I asked, "Oh, does that mean you're done?" "Yah!" We had a good laugh over that. She has started the next phase of puzzle training - doing puzzles outside the gate which involves getting your own puzzles AND putting the completed puzzles back into the puzzle rack. :) The puzzle area is outside the gate for them to get away from the mobile babies! And Nora is experiencing that first-hand with Linnea! Linnea forced her way right onto Nora's puzzle this morning.
I took this picture with Nora beside me and Atley was giving her a color quiz! Yup, that was hilarious! Atley had a brown toy (I verified this with Avi - ha!) and she was telling Nora it was "purple." Nora was amused by Atley - which happens regularly!! :) Speaking of amused by Atley, here are the two clowns in the 2nd picture!! Atley was entertaining Nora again with the buttons on the airplane that play music. Look at Nora grinning around her thumb!
Nora absolutely LOVES to play with Linnea and the Baby is such a good sport!! Nora can be relentless and I keep a close eye on it, but the only time Linnea grumbles is when she's hungry or tired!! (She also doesn't like it when the other kids put too much weight on her and it restricts her movement! She LOVES to go, go, go!!!) I love the last picture where Nora is cracking up and has her eyes closed. I saw Linnea grab a handful of Nora's hair and pull and also saw her tug on one of Nora's ears! Nora never flinched either time or yelped!! :) Earlier, Nora was covering the baby with doll blankets and doing loud belly laughs!
