Nora ate bites of toasted whole wheat english muffin and ate oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of everything; Ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.

The first thing Nora did when she walked in was start playing with the puzzles.  So here's the story behind the first picture.  Nora was working on the puzzle that Avi is "fixing."  All the pieces are identically shaped, but the idea is to match the tails or heads to the correct animal.  At this point Nora doesn't care or understand that part, she's just happy to get the pieces to fit!!  Nora finished that puzzle, pushed it aside, and started another one.  Well Avilene saw what Nora was doing she immediately had to fix it.  :)  You are a great little fixer Avi!!  She really is a good problem solver.

The kids built a "sidewalk" with the blocks and they did most of the work themselves.  I just added a few pieces to it.  They played on it for a long time and then again after lunch while I got the babies ready for nap.  The only problem with their sidewalk - it's narrow and not really enough room to pass so it works better if they're all going in the same direction.  Yup, like that's gonna happen!  Or resort to Nora's method with a new word she's learned and she knows how to use it: "MOVE!!"  :)

Yesterday I posted a picture of the kids huddled around Avilene's little sister Svea.  Here's another picture of everyone looking at Svea and this better depicts what it normally looks like!  This is like a "viewing pen" for the young public to see a baby!!  The last picture is from yesterday and I like the sign that Riley made.  It says; "Come see the Baby!"
