Nora - 5/10/2018
Nora had bites of waffle and ate a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of shepherd's pie with ground beef, potatoes and sweet potatoes, carrots, and green beans. She ate half of whole grain tortillas, and ate her cherries.
This story is about Hudson and Avilene, but I think you'll like it! Hudson told a story yesterday and re-told the story several times. Well this morning Avilene told Lauralea about it! "Hey Lauralea! Maddy stepped in a puddle of buffalo poop!" Hudson was not happy that Avi stole his story! "Hey!" he said. "That was MY story!!" Haha! We laughed so hard! (I personally would like to see this story keep going! It's too good to quit now!) The part Avi did not tell was how it "wrecked Mom's purple shoes!" Except Mom said they were polka-dot! And probably even more-so after the errant step! :) Bubba failed to tell everyone that Momma was only 7 years old at the time!
Here are some pictures from this morning. We have to start with the puzzles of course and Atley offering some assistance to her buddy Nora! Atley slid the puzzle under the gate to Nora and is pointing out where the puzzle piece goes. Nora is doing these puzzles by herself very well now, but that's not relevant to Atley! :) 2nd picture; Now isn't this the cutest!?! Linnea is standing up now and Nora was giving her loves and do you think Linnea likes it!?! Nora just looks at Linnea and giggles; she enjoys her Baby Linnea SO much! So in the 3rd picture you can see how Nora climbs onto the igloo. And you can also see why it was easier when she was wearing shorts. Her bare knees and legs grabbed the igloo better. But it doesn't matter now because she has it mastered!! :)
In the last picture I just thought it was cute how these three girls were sitting side-by-side reading their books! What you don't hear is Atley singing at top volume! Alley's loud singing is totally normal to us all and it doesn't faze the kids! Notice Nora has her book upside-down! I wonder what the fox looks like to her!? :) Upside-down fox? Probably not; that's an adult perspective!!
