Nora - 5/22/2018

Nora ate most of waffle and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate baked chicken, bite of whole grain tortilla, ate corn, and baked cinnamon apples.  Nora had a great morning and was a good listener when I had to redirect or help her use her words.  So for the sake of all involved parties I think we need to prohibit Mom from ever leaving again!!  Haha!  Just kidding!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this past weekend so everything was new and wonderful.  (I'm sure that probably helped Nora this morning as well.)  The first thing Nora played with was the music player, iPod wanna-be, or something like that!  (Picture below.)  She as at the window to wave bye at Daddy, but couldn't take her eyes off the new toy regardless of how many times I said, "Wave at Daddy!"  :)

Nora was putting on her bib backwards and saying; "wrong way, wrong way, wrong way" again!  Just like last week.  And I also heard her saying that while putting on some dress-up shoes!  I would never have recognized what she was saying except I hear the same thing while putting on bibs at every meal!!  The next picture is just a blur as Nora leaps off the top of the igloo.   Last picture; we did some golf ball painting at Art Time and it's much easier for the kids to stand up so they have more room to tip the pan all over the place!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
