Nora - 5/30/2018

Nora ate whole wheat toast and grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop, bites of whole grain tortilla, no carrots, no potatoes, no sweet potatoes, and she ate a large serving of fruit salad.  This isn't about Nora, but I think you'll like it.  At the lunch table Hudson scooted over by Atley, put his arm around her, and said to Avi (who sits across the table), "Take a picture." It was so cute and funny.  :)

This is a cute outfit Nora is wearing today and as you can see in the picture below she's found the snaps, but wasn't able to master them.  Ha!  Avi looked at what Nora is wearing today and asked her if she was wearing her "pajamas!?"  Haha!  I guess Nora wasn't too offended because later Nora happily called them her "jammies."

Shortly before I took these next two pictures Nora was literally screaming mad at Atley for something that had to do with the little play house.  Atley responded so nonchalantly that Nora quickly got over it and within moments she was laughing hysterically at Atley's antics!!  And the Caregiver was just standing there observing it all and scratching his head like; "what the heck was that about!!??" Haha!
 

Well speaking of laughing hysterically here's another picture that brought about great laughter.  Hudson sat here and fed Nora and Atley over and over for probably 15 minutes.  And they were laughing every time!!  Nora was grabbing the spoon with her teeth and then falling over backwards.  So fun to watch them having fun and enjoying each other.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
